How to enrol

Please read the following instructions carefully prior to completing and sending the enrolment form.
You can enrol on-line or via fax.
La Vera Italia accepts students on the following conditions:
- You must be 18 or over to apply.
- The school will be closed on the following national holidays: 25 April, 1 May, 2 June, 15 August, 1 November, 8 December and Easter Monday. Any lessons falling on these days will be made up on the Saturday either before or after that date. The school will close for Christmas from 24 December to 6 January inclusive of both dates. No lessons will take place during this time.
- Where the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached for a course date, the course will be reduced.
- The €200 deposit must be paid upon enrolment, whilst the balance is to be paid no later than 4 weeks prior to the start of the chosen course. Students requiring a visa have to effect full payment of the course fees on enrolment. Visas
- On request, the school will assist students in their search for accommodation. The fee for this service is €70. The school acts merely as an intermediary between the student and the owner, and takes no responsibility for the agreement reached between the student and the owner. Any student wishing to change or cancel accommodation after arrival, without good reason, will be obliged to pay an amount equal to 2 weeks’ accommodation, plus €70 to cover administration costs.
- The student shall be liable for any damage caused to the school or accommodation.
- The school accepts no responsibility for the loss of personal belongings within the school.
- During the course, the school reserves the right to exclude a student from lessons, should he/she cause trouble, thus disrupting the course, or should he fail to attend for two consecutive days without providing suitable justification. Any lessons missed by the student will be neither made up nor reimbursed.
- Health insurance: students from EU countries have to bring the relevant form guaranteeing medical assistance in other European Community countries. Students from non-EU countries have to take out insurance in their country of origin, and which is valid in Italy.
- All those requiring a student visa should contact the Italian Embassy in their country of origin. ‘La Vera Italia’ takes no responsibility for obtaining student visas, but supply a letter of acceptance once payment for the entire course has been received. esteri.it - Visas
Unless the above stated conditions are respected, students will not be accepted.
Method of Payment (to be made in Euros) :
Having completed the enrolment form and sent it to the school, students should pay the €200 deposit or the total course fee in any of the following ways:

Bank charges are entirely at the expense of the student. Please note that it takes around ten working days before the money is paid into our account. Bank charges in Italy are €10 and are at your expense. Please contact 'La Vera Italia' for any further information.
Refund Policy :
- If a student cancels 30 days or more before the start of the program, the school will retain 150 Euro of the fees and refund the difference to the student less bank charges.
- If a student cancels less than 30 days before the start of the program, the school will retain 200 Euro of the fees and refund the difference to the student less bank charges.
- If a student’s permit application is rejected 30 days before the start of the program, the school will refund the entire tuition to the student less bank charges.
- If a student’s permit application is rejected less than 30 days before the start of the program, the school will retain 200 Euro of the total fee and refund the difference to the student less bank charges.
- No refund after the beginning of the course.
